Food Appeal: Week commencing 24th February 2020

This week Mrs Blake has launched our annual Food Appeal in assembly, this will run for the next few weeks. This is a regular event where Wombourne High School will be giving back to the community by collecting donations of food for those in need in Wolverhampton.

We are asking that each pupil brings in tins of food or dry packaged items that will be taken to Good Shepherd Ministries in Wolverhampton who on an average day feed over 200 people.

The tins of food can be placed in the large box that is situated in the student entrance either before school or at break time or lunchtime

Thank you in advance for all your support with this appeal.

We have really enjoyed hosting Year 10 students from @InvictusAccount over the past two days. Students from all 6 schools conducted themselves very well - we hope they enjoyed getting a feel for some of their options for the future. #OxOutreach #AccessOriel

Wow, what incredible work from one of our Year 13 students. Keep up the good work Faith!Faith, of Year 13, has won the Rotary Young Photographer Competition and is now being entered at District Level.

Also a huge thanks to Evie of Year 10, as she volunteered to model on a freezing cold misty morning!

Theme- through my eyes. This photograph was part of Faith's fairy tale themed coursework project where she represented Alice's looking glass.

"I am proud of the achievements of Faith and am looking forward to her final collection of photographs for this theme." Added Mrs Jarman, Faith's Photography teacher.
