Welcome to our Venue Hire section!

Wombourne High School is proud of the facilities we can offer with the confidence that we can fulfil all your needs for a wide range of activities and events. From sporting events, children’s parties, musicals, presentation ceremonies, discos, dance classes, conferences, band rehearsals, reunions and so much more! Wombourne has a vast amount of varied facilities to cater for any occasion, so take a look at our facilities and get in touch, and find out how Wombourne could transform your next event!





Sports Field


Here at Wombourne we are very fortunate to have such a large site, this means that having a large sports field is possible, and that’s exactly what we have! Looking for a pitch to hire? We have multiple pitches available so take your pick!

Pitches we have include:

  • 2 x adult size football pitches

  • 2x junior size football pitches

  • 9v9 mini pitch

  • Softball pitch

  • Cricket pitch

  • Rounders pitch (available in summer only)

Netball/Tennis Courts


Located behind our school, with easy car and pedestrian access, we have our tennis and netball facilities. A large, fenced space that could be the place you are looking for to host your up coming netball/tennis lessons and matches. A Versatile space that can be adapted to suit either netball, tennis, or even both!



The space offers:

  • 5 Netball courts

  • 6 Tennis courts

  • Full perimeter fencing

  • Easy pedestrian access with near by car park








A large gymnasium which is perfect for various sporting activities and classes! Host weekly events such as:

  • Martial arts classes

  • Dance lessons

  • Basketball coaching/matches

  • Badminton coaching/matches

  • Or simply just a space to hire

Wombourne High School comes well equipped with professional facilities and experienced production staff that will ensure your production has that vital professional finish. With the facilities and equipment to cater for events such as musicals/pantomimes, dance events and festivals, live music nights, amateur dramatic productions, presentation evening, film night and conferences, Wombourne High School is able to deliver every requirement needed to make sure your next production is a hit. Drama Studio


Ever been to see one of our famous productions? Well this is where they all start. Arguably one of the most energetic class rooms in the school, the drama studio is where the magic happens.

With a large floor space, equipment, air conditioning and much more,

our drama studio could be the perfect venue for your:

  • Drama club

  • Dance class

  • Childs party

  • Club meetings

  • Fitness class


Our drama studio comes with a lighting rig containing par cans and LED

lighting. There is also a small PA system available with the facility to play

music from your phone or device.

Dining Hall


We are lucky to have such a welcoming dining hall here at Wombourne, a fully versatile room that is decorated with talented student’s art work and loaded with the vital facilities a dining hall would need means that it could be the perfect venue for your event or occasion. Have a show or production coming up in our theatre? Then our dining hall is the perfect space to host your bar and serve interval food and refreshments!


Dining Hall hire comes with:

  • 18 large tables

  • Seating for 120 people

  • 2 hot water urns

  • Various power points around the hall

  • Access to sink


We can house events such as:

  • Children’s parties

  • Reunion meals

  • Production interval refreshments

  • Bar

ICT Suites


Need a place to host your training class or ICT club? We have 2 ICT

suites available to hire. Both of our suites come equipped with 30

computers and a computer linked projector and screen meaning

that you can host your class with ease.
