Wombourne High School, part of Invictus Education Trust, are delighted to be able to celebrate the amazing results that the students of Wombourne High School have achieved. Our students have, once again, exceeded expectations and achieved outstanding GCSE results that build upon the successes of previous years. We are so pleased that all of the efforts and hard work put in by students have been recognised and our students should be proud of their achievements, just like we are!

“I am overjoyed with the results that our students have achieved. These are testament to all the hard work that they have put in throughout their educational journeys. All our staff are immensely proud of all of these results.”
Phillipa Harris, Deputy CEO of Invictus Education Trust, commented:
"A huge well done to all our Year 11 students on their GCSE results. Your hard work, determination and resilience have been inspiring and we are incredibly proud of what you have achieved. We would also like to pay tribute to our dedicated colleagues, whose commitment and expertise have supported our young people every step of the way. Finally, our thanks go to families for the encouragement and support they have given throughout this journey – it truly makes a difference. Today is a day to celebrate the achievements of our students and the strength of our Invictus community.”
Whilst we are proud of all of our students, there are individuals who have overcomenb incredible adversity throughout their time with us here at Wombourne High School, and still achieved such strong results.
This is, of course, the cohort who did not have the opportunity to finish their primary school journey as they had imagined, and they started their secondary journey in the shadow of COVID-19, still in bubbles. It is a sign of their collective strength and fortitude that they have achieved these outcomes.
We are excited to invite prospective students and families to our Annual Open Evening for the September 2026 Year 7 intake, taking place on 6th October 2025.Click here to book your place: Open Events | Wombourne High School
