You will have the opportunity to learn all about the health care sector and the different services and opportunities it provides. You will research in more detail how humans grow and develop across the different life stages and compare these findings against case studies and people from your own life to help your understanding.

How Will I Learn?
During the 2 year course, you will study the content through a range of different teaching styles. You will need to use your presentation skills to share information and be involved in class discussions around key topic content.
How Will I Be Assessed?
The course is split into 3 components, the first 2 of which are assessed internally through coursework and then the final part, which is a synoptic component, is assessed through an external exam.
Component 1 - Human Lifespan Development Internally assessed (30%)
Component 2 - Health & Social Care Services and Values Internally assessed (30%)
Component 3 - Health and Wellbeing is Externally assessed through a written exam (40%)
